First let me note, I really am not a lady that lunches. My lunch is usually a frenzied quick grab of the healthiest thing I can muster with 5-10 minutes to eat in peace over my keyboard before the next issue come through my door. However, it was duly noted by another busy friend that maybe we should just block off some time to do that lunch thing. And let me say it was glorious! A sit down meal (which may have involved a mimosa), a real conversation followed by a quick but relaxed photo shoot. Her photos can be followed here on instagram. As for the outfit included a white sheath dress from Calvin Klein, my favourite pair of snake skin kitten wedges and a western inspired bag from Nine West.

You look fab a yoozh!!! And oh how I envy you being able to wear white and having a summer to wear it during. Out here on the coast it would have to be winter white…because our summer hasn’t happened yet 😦

I have a “standing lunch date” with a few of my girlfriends. Sometimes, with our busy lives, it’s the only chance we have to catch up for weeks on end. There are 5 of us on the rotation, and some weeks we don’t all make it (and some weeks, none of us make it), but having that “on the calendar” keeps it on our radar. It is definitely worth the recharge, even if it’s all crammed into an hour or so! 🙂

But having it “on the calendar” keeps it on the radar, so to speak, and it’s always a great break. As busy as we all are, it can be the only time we have to catch up for weeks on end (face-to-face, anyway…texts don’t really count sometimes! ;)). Anyway, it definitely recharges me, even if we cram it all into an hour or so. I hope you’re able to fit it in more often…!
