Cooking with a wood fired oven definitely takes some practice and a bit of zest, so it was a challenge to make these pies when we were out in camp. Our oven was a bit rickety but the pies still turned out delicious. With limited supplies we made apple and blueberry, but after some research I found this Appleberry recipe from Jaime Oliver that looks amazing. Plus if your not stuck in the bush like we were you can get a little more creative with the ingredients.
