“Maybe our girlfriends are our soulmates and guys are just people to have fun with.”
— Candace Bushnell (Sex and the City)

Of course I write this tongue and cheek, I’m one of the biggest romantics you will ever meet. However life is busy these days and I’m finding it harder and harder with all of the conflicting schedules to get together and have a quality night with the ladies in my life. Last Wednesday I was so lucky that three of them were indeed free and ready to join me for a night out. We gathered at Teatro, where Bestie’s husband just started a new position so we had to get dressed up and cheer him on.

The food and wine was spectacular and the conversation ever colourful as it is when you get a group of women together who have not been able to divulge the trials and tribulations of life in a long time. The staff was great (I think we entertained our server) and indulged us with a photo shoot in which we took over most of the place. I was so happy to catch up with the ladies and look forward to the next birthday when we can all catch up again, xoxo.
